Job Details
This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong accountant (IFRS( to take the lead on a HFI project in a high growth business. This will require PM skills and will require someone happy to get into the details and be hands on in the delivery.

My client are a very well established and highly acquisitive business that are based in Bristol and are clear market leaders in their field of expertise
Description
The main responsibilities within this role are:
Context
To support a potential IPO based in Sep22 y/e, 3 yrs HFI is required to be included in a track record in a prospectus. The work is being done now, as it is expected to be time consuming to prepare, and audit.
Objective
To prepare 3 yrs HFI for the track record, being consolidated full P&L and Consolidated Balance Sheet for y/e Sep 22, y/e Sep21, y/e Sep 20, and therefore opening balances as at 1.10.19.
To prepare the supporting working papers showing what the respective historical positions at each time period was under France GAAP, the IFRS adj and the restated IFRS position.
To prepare any other HFI info needed for investor presentations, that is not in the consolidated P&L and Balance Sheet
To walk the internal reviewers though these workings and resolve review questions
To walk the external audit though these workings and resolve questions, to achieve their sign off, by 30 Sep 2022.
Project manage BDO support team (where required) and the external auditors
Map
Develop a plan of the high level steps and timescale
Develop a more detailed plan of the steps, resources, cost and timescale
Agree plan with the sponsor and the Financial Reporting team technical lead providing day to day support
Benefit

Profile
The successful candidate for this position:
- A fully qualified accountant with several years PQE
- Has prepared Group consolidation under IFRS, group consolidated accounts and the notes, led technical accounting projects
- Strong project management skills
- Excellent communication and persuasion skills
Job Offer
An excellent day rate with the position also sitting outside IR35. The strong preference is for a candidate to be onsite 1-2 days a week but fully remote candidates will also be considered.
