Accounts Receivable Officer
CPL Recruitment is looking for an Accounts Receivable Officer for our client based in Penrose. Candidate must have proven experienced with invoicing, billing schedule and understands subcontract claims scheduling. Experienced in Construction or labour hire industry will be an advantage.

Accounts Receivable Officer
CPL Recruitment is looking for an Accounts Receivable Officer for our client based in Penrose. Candidate must have proven experienced with invoicing, billing schedule and understands subcontract claims scheduling. Experienced in Construction or labour hire industry will be an advantage.
- Monday to Friday (ideally 7:30am to 4:00pm) or flexible working hours
- Pay ranges $60,000 to $65,000 annually
- Free Parking

- Excellent support and training
- Subcontract job files to be maintained and hold all relating documents, agreements, quotes, emails, site instructions, purchase orders, client information, etc.
- Accurately and efficiently create and process all monthly subcontract claims;
- Distribute claim and invoices to the correct Quantity Surveyor;
- Follow up of any outstanding monies owed by debtors;
- Process and create monthly invoices on all jobs;
- Send out monthly statements;
- Process New Client credit application forms for debtors to ensure legal compliance and company policies/procedures are adhered to;
- Assist with general duties to support the Office Administrator;
- Learn how to process the weekly payroll to support the Office Administrator;
- Assist in preparation of Financial Year End accounts
- Actively contribute to hazard identification and risk management
- Attend and complete all training courses as assigned
- All other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Requirements
- Mandatory drug testing
- Mandatory police background check
- Must have previous accounts receivable experience
- Keen attention to detail
- Must have a minimum of a New Zealand National Certificate of Educational Achievement (NCEA) Level 3
- Post-secondary education in Business Studies is an asset
- Confident in using technology and software
- Must be a self-starter and be able to complete any tasks that needs to be done
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A sense of urgency and excellent time management skills to meet set targets
- Outstanding organisational skills with the ability to multitask various projects at once
- Resilience with the ability to adapt well to a high-pressured changeable environment
