Senior Internal Auditor Responsibilities:

• Plans and conducts sensitive and/or more complex financial, operational, SOX, and compliance audits.
• Provides expertise to faculty and/or staff in a specialized area.
• Establishes audit objectives, budgeted hours, and targeted completion dates.
• Conducts preliminary surveys, prepares audit programs and determines audit procedures to be used.
• Recommends methods for obtaining, analyzing and evaluating evidentiary data.
• Identifies deficiencies and recommends corrective action to strengthen controls, improve operations and reduce costs.
• Prepares formal written reports expressing opinions on the adequacy, effectiveness and efficiency of procedures.
• Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.

Minimum Requirements for Senior Internal Auditor:

• Bachelor's degree
• Experience with Excel, MS Access, ACL, Auditboard, SOXHub, OpsAudit, RiskOversight, etc.
• Public accounting experience or 2+ years of experience as a senior auditor
