Education/Experience:
Qualified CA or Qualified CIMA accreditation with 3 years related experience preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to interpret Financial, Costing, Management Accounting data essential and to decode and communicate to Financial and non-financial staff, critical,
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, the individual needs advanced knowledge on Excel, SAP, PowerPoint, Word, Email, Internet, must be exceptionally computer independent and literate,
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following.
Plant Management Accounting:

* Responsible for preparing and participating in daily Key Stats Meets with Management which covers Financial and Non-Financial data covering actual vs. target information/KPI's.
* Data analysis of manufacturing performance & review of trends, including financial, operational, and logistical and report to management on problem areas and concerns, with suggested recommendations.
* Responsible for coordinating and participating in internal BOS meetings with Management & ensuring all relevant Pre BOS information is available timely.
* Preparation of daily and weekly management reports for local management presentation to HQ.
* Directly involved with the Financial Month end and SAP Controlling (CO module), primarily focused on processing and closing the Material Ledger for the plant, and related activities and journals associated with this process.
* Act as Finance lead/coordinator for the Annual Stock take, including interlinking with External Auditors.
Aftermarket Controlling:

* Directly involved with the preparation of the Aftermarket Monthly Financial Forecast and Annual Budget Process.
* Monthly preparation of sales margins per product. Investigate pricing or costing anomalies and report back to the Aftermarket division.
* Responsibility for any monthly reporting requirements and attend meetings to provide feedback on variance analysis of Monthly Profit and Loss results, Manufacturing Variances, Distribution Centre OPEX and Sales Team OPEX.
* Act as Finance Coordinator and approve/reject credit notes on the C4C sales portal.
General:

* Ensure all Reporting Deadlines are met (Internal and HQ): Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly and Annually.
* Assist with other Adhoc financial data requests from Tenneco HQ or external sources, at the request of the Plant Controller/Finance Director
* Ensure Sales prices Increases/changes and Cycle counts are authorized and captured timeously,
* Project management for designated and/or adhoc projects.
