About the Position

We have an excellent opportunity for a finance professional to make a difference in the International Headquarters (IHQ) Finance Controlling team here at Kraft Heinz. The ZBB Finance Analyst position is primarily responsible for the delivery of IHQ’s Zero Based Budget (ZBB) results- partnering with senior leaders across IHQ commercial functions and sharing ZBB best practice with colleagues across the International Zone. This role presents the opportunity to identify new ways of working and implement continuous improvement activities that will transform the finance controlling function.

 

Main Responsibilities:

  • Acting as a ZBB Lead for the IHQ General & Admin budget totalling c$80m
  • Implementing the Kraft Heinz cost control methodology and being responsible for the ZBB rituals and routines for IHQ (e.g. monthly variance analysis & forecasting and annual budgeting)
  • Tracking and monitoring department spending against ZBB guidelines and ensuring they are in line with budget; identifying risks & opportunities and developing action plans
  • Act as a Finance Business Partner for the various functional business owners (e.g. International Heads of Tax- Technology- Marketing- HR and Treasury)
  • Managing any one-off P&L items (e.g. all P&L items up to EBITDA)
  • Be the key finance contact for our outsourced shared services function and aligning with other international teams to coordinate cross charges
  • Owning all balance sheet items associated with all IHQ departments & supporting other areas of the IHQ Accounting team
  • Working with the accounts payable team to ensure timely settlement of invoices.

 

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in any field
  • An interest in Accounting or already studying towards a professional accountancy qualification (CIMA- ACCA or equiv.)
  • Experience in partnering with the business and providing financial expertise to multiple teams and functions
  • Advanced Excel skills and high level of numeric & analytical capability
  • Resilient and able to work within fixed deadlines and with a proactive mentality
  • Proficient in written and spoken English
