The role:
We are looking for a skilled Accounting Officer to cover someone going on parental leave for 15 months.
You will be responsible for providing specialized accounting services to the property management function in our Adelaide office whilst ensuring client and management reporting needs are satisfied diligently.
Key responsibilities:

* Preparation of monthly financial reporting pack on a portfolio of properties
* Provide general accounting and management support to satisfy both property owner and internal management requirements
* clear communication of changes, adherence to standards and the smooth running of the operation
* Suggest any system and report changes required to meet client reporting requirements
* Build & maintain strong relationships with all internal & external stakeholders
* Ensure financial reports for properties under management are correctly maintained
* Calculate accrual / prepayment and any adjusting entries including amortization journals
* Perform all necessary reconciliations

Who are we looking for?

* A minimum of 2 years' demonstratable experience within Property Accounting is preferred or relevant experience will be considered
* Management Reporting International (MRI) experience (preferred not essential)
* Relevant tertiary qualifications
* Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Forensic attention to detail
* Strong understanding of excellent customer/client care
* Efficient time management abilities
