The Company

Robert Half is currently recruiting for an experienced and dedicated Accounts Payable Officer to join a large multinational organisation based in Port Melbourne (parking available).

Our client is a well-known and well-respected market leader in their industry, who have grown considerably over the past calendar year.

This position is offered on a full-time temporary basis for 3-6 months, with an immediate start required.

The Role

Reporting to the Finance Manager, this role will see you working in a friendly and team focused environment where your duties will include:

  • Processing of vendor invoices
  • Account reconciliations
  • Internal reporting regarding weekly and monthly expenses.
  • Month end activities including clearing journals, reconciliations, and accruals.
  • Identify and manage process improvements.


Your Profile

To be successful in this role you will have a minimum 6 months' experience in a high-volume transactional environment with an intermediate level of Excel skills (pivot tables/ V-lookups).

Excellent communication skills, a customer service approach, and the ability to work to deadlines is also required.
