  • Prepare Monthly Financial Statements
  • Lead day-to-day financial operations within the company and a team of 6-15 people while reporting to Head of Finance
  • Lead month-end close process to ensure timeliness, accuracy and completeness of financial information
  • Be the prime contact for all internal and external queries relating to the financial operations
  • Lead end to end treasury process
  • Statutory reporting and internal governance
  • Lead preparation of the annual report, its annual audit and compliance to the SECP reporting requirements
  • Ensure compliance to FBR and Provincial Revenue Board's statutory requirements
  • Internal governance and reporting
  • Manage internal control framework (designed and operating effectiveness) of holding company and its subsidiaries
  • Ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements
  • Ensure Finance Manual, Working Level Instructions (WLIs) and team's JDs are reviewed on quarterly basis or earlier if there is any significant change during the quarter
  • Developing strategies that work to minimise financial risk
  • FP&A
  • Formulate strategy and develop long-term business plans
  • Lead annual budgeting process to prepare a granular budget that is linked to the underlying key drivers
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly forecast to present the most recent full year financial view of the company
  • Ensure timely, accurate and insightful monthly reporting the Senior Management and the Board
  • Liaise with budget holders to provide relevant and timely monthly financial reporting
  • Support project analysis, validation of plans, and ad-hoc requests
  • Research and report on factors influencing business performance
  • Analyse market trends and competitors

Requirement
  • MBA/CA/ACCA/CIMA with 5-10 years of post-qualification experience in a similar role
  • Significant analytical skillset, including the utilisation of BI and reporting tools
  • Strong quantitative abilities
  • Able to solve complex problems
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to build relationships
  • Strong influencing and interpersonal skills
  • High level of commercial acumen
  • Proficient user of MS Office (mainly Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
  • Able to manage, guide and lead employees to ensure appropriate financial processes are being used
  • A solid understanding accounting principles
  • Working level knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations.
