Description
The Accounts Receivable Officer is responsible for providing a wide range of services to ensure effective, efficient and accurate operations. Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Regular follow up of all outstanding accounts for all customers within ledger
- Preparation of reconciliations of Debtor Accounts and adjustment journals as required
- Liaising with relevant members of sales for credits to be raised as required
- Recording of all verbal correspondence with the customer and any other relevant information in the computer system notepad
- Providing copy invoices, proof of deliverable and copy statements upon request
- Assist with end of month processing as necessary
- Build and maintain professional and friendly relationships with other members of greater Finance and Administration team
- Any other tasks as requested by the Credit Manager ANZ/Accounts Receivable Team Leader
Profile
- 1-2 year experience in similar role or customer support service role
- Intermediate level in MS Excel / MS Office
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent time management skills
- Able to problem solve and action oriented
