Senior Adviser - Hamilton
A senior financial planner with a strong focus on assisting clients with their risk insurance needs. Hamilton/Waikato Base
Our client is New Zealand's leading provider of insurance and investment solutions. We are assisting them with recruiting Financial Planners to their growing team.
As an adviser, you will provide information and advice about the products and services which includes risk insurance, investments, general insurance and business insurance. You will provide advice and have input into projects led by other business units in the company.
The purpose of this role is to develop and implement sales strategies to increase revenue and continuously meet targets. Using your sales background and knowledge, you will be able to identify, meet and bring onboard new clients to the business.

- Carry out reviews of all high-value clients to ensure they have the appropriate products and services for their needs
- Acquire and maintain full knowledge of the products and services provided to enable effective sales and cross-sales
- Attend social and networking events to represent the business and enhance its reputation
- Provide mentoring and coaching in the areas of product, industry, and relevant knowledge to other advisers
About you:
- Knowledge of the insurance industry and investment products preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of complex personal risk insurance and investment scenarios
- 5 years of relevant industry experience
- Proven experience working in the sales space
- Sound time management and organisational skills
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills
- Strong team working abilities
