As the Accounts Payable Officer, your key responsibilities will include (but not limited to):

• Assist the Accounts Payable team to manage the AP inbox and phone enquiries in a timely manner.
• Responsible for general ledger invoice coding - ensuring correct entity, department and coding of invoices.
• Daily payment allocation - prepare payment files for approval.
• Completing credit card reconciliations and expense claim reimbursements.
• Support with end of month functions.
• Handle enquiries from both internal and external stakeholders.
• Investigate and report on discrepancies.
• Suggest and participate in developing enhancements/improvements to procedures.

To be successful in this role, the following skills are required:

• Demonstrated experience in end to end Accounts Payable function.
• Qualifications within Finance, Accounting or similar.
• Demonstrated experience with NetSuite or similar ERP will be highly regarded;
• Experience within the Construction Industry, desirable;
• A level of proficiency and demonstrated experience using MS Office suite of products, specifically Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail whilst working to deadlines.
