About the Role

The Perks Banking & Finance Team provide finance advisory services to help clients secure competitive rates and terms for home loans, equipment finance facilities and business loans. Due to growth, we have an exciting full-time, permanent opportunity for a Finance Assistant to join our supportive and collaborative team.

As the Finance Assistant you will be responsible for a wide variety of tasks, providing high level administration and client service support to the Banking & Finance Team to ensure the delivery of exceptional service. In this role you will act as the first point of contact, playing a key role in maintaining long lasting relationships with our clients and network partners.

Responsibilities
  • Providing exceptional client service and communication
  • Analysing clients' financial status and requirements, discussing financial options, and developing financial strategies and recommendations
  • Managing the review process for our current client base
  • Arranging home loan mortgages and other types of finance for clients through banks, lenders, financiers
  • Preparing documents which set out the conditions of finance, repayments, and loan periods
  • Liaising with financiers, real estate agents, accountants, solicitors, conveyancers.

Skills and Experience

Some of the skills, experience, and attributes that you would bring to the role are:
  • Completion or near completion of Bachelor of Finance or a finance related discipline (desirable)
  • Ability to engage and manage client expectations
  • Ability to manage competing deadlines and conflicting priorities
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work without supervision and within a collaborative team environment
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills with the ability to work with a wide range of people
  • Motivated, driven and willing to learn
