Group Accountant | Witney | Hybrid Working | £55,000 - £65,000

This is an exciting opportunity to join an exciting, PE backed, award winning business based in Witney. As the Group Accountant, you will be managing the Financial Reporting of the group, tax compliance, General Ledger and statutory reporting.

Your new role

As the successful candidate, your responsibilities will include:

• Managing statutory financial reporting for all group companies ensuring compliance
• Preparing monthly consolidated P&L, balance sheet and cashflow reporting and analysis for management.
• Being the primary point of contact for external auditors
• Preparing annual financial statements for group entities under IFRS
• Supporting the preparation of financial statements
• Supporting all aspects of group financing record
• Maintaining a robust balance sheet, working in closely with AP, Treasury and Payroll teams
• Supporting Treasury and internal Legal departments
• Working with tax advisors to ensure compliance
• Developing a financial policy manual and controls framework

What you'll need to succeed

To be the successful candidate, you need to have / be:

• Qualified Accountant (ACCA or ACA) ideally from practice
• Experience directing and developing a team of accountants
• Strong technical accounting background
• Experience of D.AX or similar ERP systems
• High level of drive, commitment, and self-motivation
