We are working on behalf of a leading Global supplier of Quality Metals for the Power Generation & Energy Industry in their search for an experienced and dynamic Finance Assistant.
Reporting to Senior Management in regard to all financial and accounting activities.
The position is also offered with an excellent bonus package including loyalty and yearend bonus incentives.
Job
Responsibilities:
Maintaining all aspects of the general ledger on Xero.
Bank Account Reconciling for our UK & USA sites.
Maintaining the Purchase & Sales ledger which includes processing & Allocating Payments, raising invoices and posting customer receipts.
Processing Supplier Payments.
Maintaining and following-up on Aged Debtors.
Assisting Management with Month End / Year End Accounts preparation.
Credit Control.
Processing Staff Expenses.
Overseeing weekly employee time sheets and processing weekly Payroll.
Other General Office Duties.
Liaising with our accountant in the USA to gain an understanding of local Tax legislation and guidelines.
Understanding and Maintaining business insurance policies and renewals.
Experience with Xero accounting software is an advantage
