The newly created Accounts Payable Manager Role will be key part of this Finance team for an aggressively growing Fintech Firm based in Paddington (W1)

Role

This Accounts Payable Manager role for this Fintech Firm in Paddington (W1) will help the Financial Controller build the accounting function, put processes in place and refine existing one. The role will look to build the Purchase ledger team out as the team is currently 2 and looking to double before the end of the year. Please find a snapshot of the role below.

  • Managing subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs, monitoring their workload, and ensuring deadlines are met
  • Ensuring the AP inbox is being monitored on a timely basis and all supplier invoices/credit note are being booked to the correct legal entity, GL account and department, and that VAT is being accounted for correctly
  • Liaising with different departments and assigning appropriate spend approval hierarchies and checking that the appropriate approvals have been obtained and company policies adhered to
  • Reviewing weekly payments of supplier invoices and employee expenses, providing information regarding future payment run requirements
  • Liaising with the Procurement Manager to ensure appropriate contracts are in place
  • Managing the Aged Creditors report and monthly supplier statement reconciliations, and communicating with suppliers and internal staff to resolve queries
  • Assisting with the implementation of the new procure to pay system
  • Managing the daily bank transaction posting in NetSuite

Profile

The Accounts Payable Manager role for this Fintech Firm based Paddington (W1) are ideally looking for.

  • Someone with at least 2 years' experience running an Accounts Payable Function
  • Someone with experience implementing or operating on NetSuite
  • Someone who has managed at least a team of 2

The Purchase Ledger clerk role will report into a hugely impressive Financial Controller who is keen to develop people within the team and likes promoting from within. The Fintech firm is very flexible and does reward good work and discretionary effort due to the face paced nature. The Fintech Firm also are currently operation with a Hybrid Approach of currently 3 days in the office and the working hours being 9-5:30. The reason for the role is due to growth and is a newly created role.

Salary & Benefits

The AP Manager for this Fintech Firm based in Paddington (W1) is paying 50,000 - 60,000. And has a bonus structure in place as well as Private medical insurance. The business also offers Hybrid working.This salary range is based on experience. Robert Half finance recruitment.
