Te tūranga - The role
Reporting to the Director of Governance and Internal Audit, the Manager Audit Services is responsible for managing the internal audit function in RBNZ. The Manager Audit Services also has independent reporting responsibilities to the Governor and the Audit Committee.
In this role you will:

* lead, manage, develop and motivate to ensure the team functions effectively and collaboratively across the organisation
* establish, manage and participate in programmed audit cycles and ensure all audits are conducted in accordance with the audit plan
* develop the audit strategy and determine the parameters and constraints to ensure the audit function delivers quality audits
* effectively manage and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Ō pūkenga - About you
You are an audit professional who has experience in the financial space, with the knowledge and understanding of audit practices and techniques. You build meaningful relationships and you are able to influence at a senior level, whilst developing and achieving through others.
You have:

* management experience in audit and/or risk
* Chartered Accountancy Qualification (or equivalent)
* excellent people skills and the ability to lead and manage a team
* the ability to make sound decisions and encourage innovation.
