We are working with a large and well-known organisation to source an Accounts Officer on a temporary basis, for around 7 months (high chance to extend)

This role is looking to start ASAP, so ideally you will be immediately available.

The Role

Reporting to the Finance Manager, your duties will include:

• Purchase requisitions, cash advance requests and acquittals, staff and student reimbursements.
• Goods receipting of invoices for payment and forwarding of documents to Accounts Payable for payment processing.
• Review and follow up on outstanding purchase orders.
• Process debtor invoice requests and credit notes.
• Forward cheques/monies received to Accounts Receivable with relevant supporting documentation.
• Process general journal requests for cash advance acquittals, GST and posting corrections.

Your Profile

• At least 2 years experience in a similar role
• Experience using Finance One with be highly regarded (not essential)
• Someone who thrives in a high volume and fast paced environment
• Excellent communication skills, and a keen eye for detail
