The purpose of the role is to support the Finance Business Partner in a variety of management accounting tasks, whilst working towards a recognised accountancy professional qualification. The role holder needs to be highly-driven to succeed and hard-working with a willingness to learn and develop. In return, the company will provide training and a range of relevant finance experience.

Duties will include

• Work as a member of the Finance Department
• Calculate accounting adjustments as part of period end routine and post journal entries
• Analyse and report on departmental operational expenditure and employment costs
• Assist with calculation of product costs and maintenance of bill of materials / routing
• Support inventory management, annual stocktake process and PI checks
• Maintain capital expenditure approval forms and account for Fixed Assets
• Perform various ad hoc or project work to support the Finance Team
• Understand and follow Company safety, health & environmental and any other Company policies and procedures
• Any other duties consummate with the grade and nature of this position

Qualifications required:

• Educated to Degree level ideally in a relevant subject i.e. Accounting and Finance, Business, Economics, Maths etc.
