Risk Modelling Services (RMS) sits within the wider Risk practice, working hand in hand with our specialist teams to provide analytics and risk modelling to our clients.
Supply Chain Risk is a growth area for RMS and the Risk practice more broadly, and we are dedicating a team to focus on supply chain risk modelling and analytics. Our work in this area includes:
  • Working with our partner teams to support clients' risk management and business decision making using risk modelling & analytics
  • Designing & building bespoke Supply Chain Risk models to meet the requirements of particular client business & risk contexts
  • Supporting clients in understanding and measuring the effect of potential shock scenarios to their supply chains and businesses, and how to mitigate these risks
  • Building & working with Supply Chain Analytics solutions in a variety of platforms
  • Building reports and presentations for our clients on their risk profile and potential business decisions
  • Presenting our models and approaches to prospective clients
  • Engaging in thought leadership and conference presentations to promote our brand
The RMS team is made up of over 15 partners and 300 professional staff; we are a team of modelling specialists who support government, private sector and financial services clients to better understand and manage various types of risk.
About the role
We are seeking an experienced Manager to deliver supply chain risk analytics to clients and to support the development of relevant models and thought leadership.
You will work with a variety of clients across industries and geographies, collaborating with the relevant Risk practice teams to take Supply Chain Risk Analytics to clients by supporting proposals, leading analytics workstreams and in acting as a subject matter expert. In addition to direct client work, you will support the development of risk models and will engage in thought leadership to promote our brand.
Skills and Experience:
Experience required for this role:
You will have experience of working in Supply Chain Analytics, ideally with some exposure to understanding and measuring risk in the supply chain, either in industry or consulting to clients in this area.
Technical skills required for this role:
  • Experience of supply chain analytics or risk management
  • Experience in working with risk models and analytics to fit business needs
  • Experience in model building (eg in Excel, VBA or Python)
  • Experience in delivering and presenting work
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical capability
Key management skills required for this role include:
  • Ability to work in an agile manner, being on multiple projects at a given time
  • Strong interpersonal skills and comfortable communicating at all levels
  • Excellent verbal, written and influencing skills
