Finance sits within Organisational Capability and Services, a branch dedicated to supporting the rest of the Department to succeed by providing corporate services that help business groups and people within DIA to make the best contribution to New Zealand.
The Management Accountant provides supports to a Branch in providing sound financial information, whether it is monthly accounts, project financials, budgeting or forecasting.
The accountant will be supported by a Senior Management Accountant along with the Branch Finance Business Partner.
The Accountant will be expected to build an in-depth knowledge of the Branch they are servicing and be in a position to interpret the financial results in light of the Branches plans and intentions.
We are looking for an accountant who is motivated, resilient, capable of building strong relationships and can communicate across all mediums.
