About the job:

As an Audit Senior, you will be involved in the leadership and mentoring of your team, the Audit reporting and management of your client base. You will be provided with opportunities for long-term career progression and exposure to various assignments in several industry sectors, including external audit, internal audit and financial reporting for private and public entities. In this role, you will be working with one of Australia's fastest-growing accounting firms with over 310 professionals and 36 partners over 4 offices in Australia.

  • Leading the planning, execution and completion of Audit engagements with oversight from the Partners and Senior Management Group
  • Assisting with reporting to Boards of Directors and those charged with governance
  • Mentoring and coaching Graduates, Intermediates and Light Senior staff members
  • Taking a lead role in technical research, business development, financial report preparation and group reporting
  • Supporting the team through other ad hoc assurance work
  • Develop your knowledge with U Learn, the Mazars individualised learning platform


About you:
  • 3 - 7 years of external Audit experience from within Australia
  • Completed CA or CPA (or near completion, financial support and study time provided by Mazars)
  • Bachelor of Commerce (or equivalent) or other related Accounting Degree
  • Proactive team player
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
  • Have full rights to work in Australia
  • Ambitious to develop your career through the Mazars personalised careers progression plan
  • Able to work full time within our flexible working arrangements
