Accounts receivable/ Customer Service

Working with our Cold Chain Warehouse client based in Laverton, we are seeking a seasoned Accounts Receivable Officer to commence immediately.

• You will have responsibility for providing a full range of accounts receivable duties & customer service tasks, this includes but is not limited to:
  • Coordination and administration of the general accounts receivable function
  • Accurate data entry of invoices and transactions into the ERP system in conjunction with other accounts staff
  • Responsible for account reconciliation and issuing of monthly invoices and statements.
  • Keying orders and raising invoices/credits to assist customer service staff.
  • Handle customer queries regarding their accounts and resolve any issues.
  • Process monthly collections of debtor accounts and follow up of aged debt.
  • Calling debtors regarding overdue payments and maintaining overdue balances to a satisfactory level.
  • Ensure customers are aware of/adhere to our credit policy - identify any credit risks including new accounts
  • Provide outstanding customer service, resolving queries/requests in a timely manner.
  • Producing monthly management reports
  • Entering purchase orders and receipting inventory
  • General admin and adhoc duties

The Ideal candidate will have:

• Minimum of 1 to 2 years experience in similar role
• Demonstrated ability to collect high volume receivables within credit terms
• Ability to adapt and learn new software systems
• Intermediate skills in excel; includes knowledge of basic formulas
• Excellent reconciliation skills
• High-level attention to detail
• Strong communication skills
• Strong customer service attributes
• Good problem-solving ability
• Able to work to demanding deadlines in a dynamic and fast paced environment.
