Te Kaiurungi | About the Role

The Associate Insights Analyst sits in our Data, Analytics & Strategy business unit which comprises of several specialist teams who work alongside other performance units to design and advance the BNZ agenda.In the role, you'll be responsible for providing trusted information to BNZ Technology & Operations and the wider BNZ to support decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Technology & Operations business unit by defining, developing and implementing comprehensive and effective analytics to inform decision-making
• Create, support, and curate a suite of self-service reports and dashboards that inform regular business decision-making and monitor key metrics
• Document your work and ensure it can be communicated effectively to non-technical audiences

Ō Pūkenga | About You

We are looking for someone with 1- 2 years' experience generating analysis and insight from large databases. You'll be very comfortable writing complex queries (SQL is a must), and be proficient in at least one visual analytics tool (Tableau or PowerBI). Above all, you must be a star communicator who can work effectively with our teams so that you understand what they need, the 'why' behind what we are doing, and how analytics can add value for them.
