Te Kaiurungi | About the Role

We currently have an exciting opportunity within our Agribusiness team looking after the Hauraki, Coromandel, and Thames region, managing a portfolio of Agribusiness clients.

In this role, you will enhance our partnerships with our clients, demonstrating an understanding of their business, objectives, challenges, and opportunities while utilising commercial acumen to help them grow.

Key responsibilities will include:
  • Maintaining and managing relationships across an Agribusiness banking portfolio.
  • Working closely with your local team to ensure strong portfolio management.
  • Playing a proactive role in the rural community representing our market brand to the highest standard.
  • Ensuring a sound level of awareness of industry activities, events and developments in the domestic market.

We are looking for someone who is community centric and passionate about Agribusiness banking, with strong commercial acumen. To be successful in this role you will also have:
  • Excellent communication skills and proven negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrated relationship management skills, with the ability to understand customer needs and provide appropriate solutions.
  • The ability to make an informed opinion and articulate that opinion on financial statements and sector areas of interest.
  • A qualification and/or experience in Finance, Accounting, Business or Legal (not essential).
