Role Description:

Participation in risk assessments of auditable businesses (these results drive audit coverage cycles for businesses) Participation and support in the execution of planned audits (per audit cycle) and targeted/ ad-hoc audits (e.g. in response to emerging risk), providing assurance to senior management over the effectiveness of the controls' environment in the region. After successfully settling within the team and understanding the audit methodology and the operating environment, the candidate will start leading audits. Validating the closure of significant findings/ issues Coaching the less experienced audit associates in the team Monitoring Industry and emerging risks analysis and following up on unusual trends or significant risks.

The Team:

The EMEA GBAM Audit team currently comprises of 16 auditors with diverse experience and skills mostly located in our primary hubs of London and Paris. The team is well diversified in relation to gender and ethnicity with a strong focus on ensuring the physical and mental wellness of associates, maintaining team spirit, sharing knowledge and experience, valuing every associate's contribution, helping associates to develop and progress their careers and well as ensuring that associates enjoy the work environment (whether working virtually or in the office). We also offer internal and external training opportunities to associates to develop their technical/ product and soft skills.

The team remains extremely well connected to other regional audit teams (US and APAC) through joint or lead engagement in global audits, global mentoring initiatives as well as engagement in global Diversity and Inclusion initiatives.

Key skills:

This role requires the candidate to have some quantitative skills as well as detailed experience and knowledge of GM FICC (Fixed Income, Credit & Commodities) and Equities trading products (securities and derivatives) and processes relating to:

Trade capture and validation Trading risk exposure management (including knowledge of product risk factors including "Greeks") Trade lifecycle events management (e.g. rate resets, option exercises) Trade position marking Independent price verification of trade position valuations

The candidate is also expected to have some knowledge of key UK and EU Regulations that apply to GM trading (e.g. MAR, MIFID II). Data analytics and programming language skills are also preferable.
