• Earn an Outstanding ReputationAbout the roleThe Audit Manager role will focus primarily on defining and delivering the internal audit of key business and operational risks. This is an opportunity to deliver business, finance and operational audits while building and maintaining a collaborative relationship with key stakeholders at Cashplus Bank. Key accountabilities
• Delivering business, finance and operational audits - including: o Developing an audit planning memorandum (APM) for each audit. o Undertaking independent risk and control analysis. o Designing audit testing programme taking into consideration nature, frequency and risk of individual key controls. o Executing audit testing utilising, amongst other things, data analytics tools. o Closing out audits and reaching conclusions from the audit fieldwork with the business and risk owners. o Agreeing actions and timeframes to address any observations raised.
• Preparing high quality reports, providing clarity for non-technical readers to understand, for Internal Audit Director's review and finalisation.
• Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders across the first and second lines of defence.
• Being proactive and contributing to team operations, including quarter-end reporting, audit issue follow-ups, enterprise risk management activities and any other team activities.You'll need to haveEssential
• Ideally ACA/ACCA qualification or equivalent.
• Significant experience within regulated financial services covering financial audits, operational audits covering banking activities such as payments, contact centre management, credit products, financial crime & fraud, Risk Management and Compliance,
• Proven experience in managing and delivering end-to-end audit cycle is essential, including project assurance on key projects.
• Strong analytical and data-driven credentials linked to smart auditing and providing unique data-driven insights back to the business.
• Strong written communication skills and considerable experience in writing polished and punchy audit reports.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills.Desirable
