Our client is a mid-size accounting firm based on the Southside of Brisbane. They offer specialized accounting support and advice to their wide range of SME clients. They have a strong focus on client service and fostering beneficial business relationships.

The Opportunity
Due to our clients continual growth, they are currently seeking an experienced accountant to join their Mt Gravatt team. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for the following tasks:

• Preparing tax returns and financial statements for SME clients
• Working will individuals, companies, trusts, partnerships and sole traders
• Undertaking complex tax calculations including FBT, Div7a & CGT
• Ensuring jobs are completed effectively by meeting technical standards and deadlines
• Assisting with advisory duties and tax planning

About You
To be considered for the role, you must have the following:

• Experience performing the above accounting functions
• CA or CPA Qualified
• Degree qualified with 4-6 years Public Practice Accounting experience
• Experience using MYOB AE, MYOB Essentials, Xero and Handitax
• Strong communications skills
• Professional and bubbly personality
