Based in the Blaydon area, we are looking for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join a small finance team and provide support in this area of the department. Working in a friendly, positive environment and for a company where staff turnover is extremely low, this is a great opportunity for someone who is happy within a ledger role and who can also support in some of the general administrative tasks.
- Inputting and processing purchase invoices
- Coding and matching invoices to orders
- Invoice query resolution internally and with suppliers
- Supplier statement reconciliations
- Checking of expenses
- Petty cash
- Creation of purchase orders for distribution
- Inputting information re staff records
- Dealing with initial enquiries, documenting, and passing to the relevant department
- System used: Sage
The role will be office based and the hours are 9am-5pm Monday to Friday.
