Based in the Blaydon area, we are looking for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join a small finance team and provide support in this area of the department. Working in a friendly, positive environment and for a company where staff turnover is extremely low, this is a great opportunity for someone who is happy within a ledger role and who can also support in some of the general administrative tasks.

  • Inputting and processing purchase invoices
  • Coding and matching invoices to orders
  • Invoice query resolution internally and with suppliers
  • Supplier statement reconciliations
  • Checking of expenses
  • Petty cash
  • Creation of purchase orders for distribution
  • Inputting information re staff records
  • Dealing with initial enquiries, documenting, and passing to the relevant department
  • System used: Sage

The role will be office based and the hours are 9am-5pm Monday to Friday.
