Financial Controller job - London - Leading Global Brokerage - Permanent job

This leading global brokerage and financial technology firm based in London are looking for a Controller to join their high performing team. The Legal Entity Control team provide financial reporting services for all legal entities based in the EMEA region and liaise with all functional departments locally and globally.

Your new role
You will be producing monthly and quarterly reports, and statutory accounts while ensuring quality, control and consistency. This is a particularly collaborative environment as the legal entity reporting must be brought together to be reported as a group. The role would be suited to someone fully qualified with experience preparing a balance sheet in its entirety.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be an ACA qualified accountant (or ACCA/CIMA qualified with demonstrated experience from practice), and you will be able to demonstrate a strong academic background and career progression to date. You will have a good understanding of UK GAAP and IFRS as well as the principles of UK regulatory reporting. If you also bring experience of US GAAP that would be an advantage. The team are looking to see your motivation, ambition and your ability to deal with brokers, senior management and colleagues at all levels and locations.
