Hays are currently recruiting for a well known educational institute based here in the South West to recruit a Head of Management Accounts

Your new role
Reporting into the Director of Finance and directly responsible for a team of 10, this role will be key in delivering year end reporting, the delivery of financial planning for the coming year, management accounts to support projects contributing to the overall strategy of the business whilst delivering regular reports and updates to the executive committee. In addition, you will develop the commercial accounting team and support in the overall direction and strategy of the function. There is an ongoing change programme to deliver a long term strategy so there is an opportunity to get involved in wider projects.


What you'll need to succeed
The client is looking for a experienced finance leader that can contribute to the longer term success of the business. Education experience is desirable but you must be have had experience managing a finance function in a complex organisation. Ideally you will have had experience in delivering successful change programmes and be able to support on high level, strategic planning whilst managing staff.
