Client Details

My client are a well established and high growth business based in Cheltenham. Due to recent acquisitions they are looking to expand the finance team, and in particular the commercial arm of their finance business.

Description

The key responsibilities within this role are:

• Lead the end to end finance integration process for acquisitions in the business
• Act as a business partner for M&A managers and integration managers
• Build relationships with new acquisitions, the colleagues, the vendors, and act as the financial advisor during the integration period
• Understand the performance of the newly acquired businesses: strengths, weaknesses and areas of improvement. Create action plans with the integration managers to overcome any issues during the integration period
• Review the monthly P&Ls in your remit, highlighting key variances to plan to the senior finance team
• Support the budgeting and forecasting process
• Contribute to the senior management of the team for the Integration function
• Complete ad-hoc requests from the Integrations Senior Finance Manager, M&A Managers and Integration Managers

Profile

The candidate profile for this role:

• Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
• Proven ability to deliver monthly financial reporting suite
• Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills
• Results driven with the ability to deliver to tight deadlines in a fast-paced business
• Strong IT skills; especially in Excel

Job Offer

There is a highly competitive package on offer. Candidates will be considered up to one months notice and given the growth in the business there is a possibility this may go perm at the end of the 12 month contract. This is a hybrid working role and there is an expectation to be onsite in the Cheltenham office 2 days a week.
