Description

The Accounts & Payroll Assistant role is a 15 Month Fixed Term Contract and will be office based.

Reporting to the Finance Manager you will have the opportunity to look after:

End to end payroll processing on Sage Payroll

- Processing SSP, SMP, pension payments, loan deductions

- Weekly check for changes to tax codes and student loans

- Pension Auto Enrolment - administrating all tasks including maintenance of employee data, creating auto enrolment pension MA and CO files and uploading

- Processing statutory payments

- Keeping up to date the monthly salaries spreadsheets

- Preparation and posting of payroll journals into SAP. (Training will be given if not experienced on SAP)

- HMRC reporting and payments - Monthly and Year End - P60's P11D's

Finance

- Credit control and aged debtor reporting

- Posting of customer receipts on SAP

- Processing of employee expenses using Concur and SAP

- Processing of payments through the bank accounts

- Weekly bank reconciliations (bank statements to SAP, GBP, Euro & USD accounts)

- To carry out general finance administration activities within the team

Profile

In order to apply for the role you should:

Have some previous experience of Payroll Administration

Have worked in an accounts/payroll role previously

Be confident in Excel to v look up and pivot table level

Be able to commute to Heywood(Rochdale) office

Be able to consider a 15 month contract
