We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join our remarkable team on a part-time, Fixed Term contract for 12 months.

TeamKids specialises in individually tailored Before and After School Care and School Holiday Programs. We partner with 160 + primary schools and venues to deliver remarkable programs that enrich children's lives. About the role

We have an opportunity for an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join our team on a part-time, fixed term basis for 12 months. You will be reporting to the Finance Manager and would be part of a small, friendly Finance team.

Responsibilities:
  • Processing of accounts payable invoices in accordance with the Company Purchase Authorisation Policy
  • Reconciliation of supplier statements and handling of queries
  • Managing corporate accounts and maintaining relationships with creditors
  • Completion of credit applications
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with all departments and field staff
  • Participating in month end, quarter end and year end procedures
  • Continuously reviewing processes to improve efficiencies
  • Managing Fixed Asset register
  • Working closely with the Finance Manager/ CFO to analyse spend
  • Assisting the Finance Manager/ CFO with cashflow
  • Managing the Bookkeeper and the credit card reconciliation process
  • Managing the expense reimbursement system and process
  • Managing relationship with Expense Reimbursement Administrator

  • ‘Team First' attitude
  • Proven experience in an Accounts Payable function.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work with large volumes of data in excel
  • Ability to manage large volumes of invoices
  • Effective time management skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Experience in OSHC/ Early Education Industry (preferred)
  • Experience in working with extensive cost centres
