Deputy Chief Finance Officer for a Local Authority Trading Company (budget circa £300m). The role takes a bird's-eye view of the client business and works to advise/shape decision making. This is value add opportunity with elements of standardisation, continuous improvement, FP&A, business partnering and team development.

Description
- Responsible for adding value to clients by shaping decison making and enhancing business management
- Coordinate budget management
- Continuous improvement - driving efficiences and standardisation whilst enhancing analysis and finance capability's for clients
- Provide financial insight and reporting throughout the year
- Team management - 3 direct reports
- Internal audit reports
- Ensure robust control framework
Profile
- Qualified accountant or QBE
- Experience within Public Sector
- Man management experience
- Experience to contributing in yearly budgets
- Strong communication and business partnering skills
- Advanced Excel
