** Financial Planning and Analysis role **
Candidate must be immediately available to interview and start ASAP.
Temporary to permanent opportunity. Hybrid working model.
Client Details
This is an international FMCG company who are looking for a candidate with suitable accountancy experience.
The position is involved in the delivery of Group FP&A activities including, but not limited to:
- strategic planning and annual budgeting
- quarterly forecasting
- standard business performance reporting and other business support & analysis, and
- driving internal projects and presentations.
This will involve working with a broad range of teams across the overall business.
Description
The key responsibilities for this FP&A role are:
- Assist with preparation of analysis and presentations for senior management and Board covering Group monthly results, forecast, budgets. Key will be providing insights and potential actions.
- Assist with investor / market commentary (both analysis and presentations).
- Assist to drive key group projects. These will be projects around revenue growth, efficiency improvement and cash flow improvement.
- Ad-hoc analysis. Mainly to help answer business performance questions.
- Delivery of on-time senior management, Board and external reporting analysis with high quality insights to inform decision making.
- Ways of working and building relationships
- Working autonomously or having limited access to immediate manager
- Working in a matrix environment
- Experience analysing and interpreting data, generating insights
- Experience preparing high quality presentations for senior management
- Ability to manage conflicting demands / multi-tasking
- Ad-hoc accountancy tasks
Profile
The FP&A candidate will have:
- A curious self-starter with a desire to learn and add value
- Commercial acumen with strength in solving unstructured problems and keen attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal skills to enable effective collaboration across time zones and cultures.
- Practical knowledge and skills in using a range of Microsoft software applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook and Powerpoint
- Able to work autonomously and collaboratively in a pressurised environment with conflicting priorities
- Target-oriented with the ability to think on your feet
