The Position

A Senior Accountant has become available due to growth and the business obtaining new large business entities groups as clients. In the role, you will have a direct reporting line to the firm's Partners in this ‘open-door' environment and will be responsible for providing business advisory and tax accounting services to their client base, as well as mentoring junior and intermediate accountants to help your own progression into management.

On offer in an entirely negotiable package based on your experience, however, will range anywhere from $75,000 to $90,000 + super.

The key areas of focus will include but are not limited to:

• Preparation of Financial Statements & Tax Returns for a range of clients across various sectors - Sole Traders, Partnerships, Trusts, Companies, Groups, SMSF's
• Liaising with & providing accurately & timely advice to clients on a range of business matters
• Assist Seniors in providing strategies to clients in relation to budgeting, tax planning & cash flow planning

The Candidate

The business is looking for someone with at least 4-5+ years' experience in Australian public practices and accounting work. This opportunity would suit someone looking for something new, fresh and without the stress of a stock standard accounting firm.

• Minimum 4-5+ years of experience in Australian public practice
• CA/CPA qualifications, or currently studying
• Relevant degree qualifications
• Experience utilising accounting software programs
• Well-presented
• Good communicator
