Financial Accountant

Your new role
You will be providing support to the Senior Financial Accountant with external reporting, technical accounting and taxation compliance. Preparation of external reporting, including Group Annual Report and subsidiary financial statements. Assisting with the preparation of Group corporation tax computations and assisting with the preparation of Group quarterly VAT submissions.

Key responsibilities and tasks include:

• Researching technical accounting aspects to ensure the Group is compliant with IFRS
• Ownership and reconciliation of technical areas on the balance sheet
• Technical calculations/models such as dollar offset method and intangible valuations
• Key understanding of technical areas which effect the group such as IFRS16 etc
• Month end consolidation process
• Assisting the Senior Financial Accountant as required with Investor relations
• Assisting with ad-hoc duties

What you'll need to succeed
You will need to be a qualified accountant (ACCA,ACA,CIMA or equivalent), be highly organised and have strong communication skills to be considered for this role.
