The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities:
- Reporting - reconcile and analyse ledger accounts, provide job costing reports, prepare weekly/monthly financial reports, and deliver timely and relevant financial information to the Director.
- Payroll & HR - weekly payroll and reporting, including superannuation obligations and workers compensation claims; HR compliance, including staff files, apprentice records and maintenance of relevant licenses for all employees; a total team of approx. 20 staff
- Customer Service - high level of service to both external and internal customers.
- Office Management - ensure all administration functions of the office are conducted efficiently.
- Accounts Management - data entry and management of accounts payable, receivable, payroll, BAS, and Payroll Tax,
Skills & Experience:
- Recently completed a BCom or in final year.
- Strong interpersonal skills - able to communicate well with people at all levels when dealing face to face, over the phone or in written communication.
- Organised with the ability to prioritise competing demands and utilise downtime effectively.
- Likes to streamline processes, create templates and see everything running efficiently.
- Always follows through with tasks and does not need to be reminded.
- Presents a professional appearance for the business.
- Flexibility to restructure your day as new tasks and deadlines appear.
- Proven ability to work independently and as a member of a team, manage own performance and work with initiative to achieve expected outcomes.
- Quick learner with a natural ability and desire to expand own role over time.
