Founded in 1978, Clark Contracts Ltd is a privately owned main contractor with six operating divisions; Construction, Retail, Fit Out, Small Works, Maintenance and Manufactured Joinery. We employ over 220 people with offices in the East and West of Scotland.

We are looking to recruit a Trainee Finance Assistant to join our finance department.This role would ideally suit a recent school leaver that has an interest in working within a fast paced finance department. The successful candidate will complete a Modern Apprenticeship in a related subject.

Role & Responsibilities

Duties will include but not be limited to

Processing invoices

Receipting of deliveries

Dealing with any invoice discrepancies

Processing purchase ledger payment runs

Reconciling supplier statements

Dealing with any supplier queries

Dealing with some internal telephone orders

Assist Payroll with timesheet processing

Assist with vehicle management

The Candidate

To be considered you must:

Be IT literate

Have good communication skills

Be confident

Have a willingness to learn and develop.

This is a full time, permanent role and will be based in our Paisley head office.
