My client is an industry leading construction contractor with multiple million-dollar projects across different sectors. They are looking for an experienced and attentive Accounts Payable Officer who will be working collaboratively with the small team and reporting to the company Accountant.
The company believes in investing in their team and ensures these goals are met whether it be professional or personal aspirations. The company focuses on their staff's success by providing ongoing support and career development with many of them starting off in junior positions and have now progressed into senior leadership roles! - $65,000 - $70,000 + Super + Annual salary reviews, flexible starting times and yearly bonus

THE ROLE
- Logging, matching and distribution of creditor invoices
- New creditor set up and maintenance
- Filing paperwork accurately and in a timely manner
- Managing creditors inbox effectively
- Weekly and monthly payment runs
- Reconciliation of accounts
- Following up on invoices approaching due date
THE PERSON
- Minimum 2 years of accounts payable experience
- Ability to complete tasks accurately and on time
- High level computer literacy skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Great attention to detail, record keeping skills
- Exceptional organisational and time management skills
- A great, supportive team player
