Accounts Payable Manager

Reporting to the Manager - Transaction Services the Accounts Payable Manager will be responsible for management, coaching and guidance to team of accounts payable across 2 ERP systems(SAP and Pronto).

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the day to day operations of the Payables & Customer Onboarding & Intercompany functions
• Develop & coach the team, creating opportunities for the team members to develop new skills or broaden portfolios
• Act as a point of escalation for invoice or processing queries for the team both with external and internal stakeholders
• Develop and maintain successful working relationships with internal stakeholders such as the Group Supply Team, ISG Managers and the Group Finance Teams
• Assist in developing Transaction Services Dashboards and performance reporting
• Drive process improvements leveraging off current technology available in our ERP & Procurement systems
• Assist in driving improvements through the various input processes such as procurement, on site goods receipting, vendor management and master data
• Implement and maintain rigorous control processes to mitigate risk across the Transaction Services function

Role Specific Requirements

• Preferably a minimum of 5 years relevant experience in a similar position
• Strong ERP systems knowledge preferably in SAP and Pronto.
• Advanced Excel skills
• A tertiary degree in accounting, finance or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Demonstrated experience in creating process improvements within Accounts Payable
