Our Client
Our client is an Australian organisation based North of Perth in Balcatta. They are looking for a motivated and driven Assistant Accountant / AP Officer to join the team on a permanent basis.

Description
Reporting to the CFO your other duties will include but are not limited to:

• Management of day-to-day accounts payable tasks
• Preparation and processing of month end reporting
• Assistance with management and reporting of cash books
• Assist with balance sheet reconciliations and credit card reconciliations
• Assisting with the preparation of STP's and BAS
• Other ad hoc accounting duties to support the broader team

Profile
As an ideal applicant, you will have;

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or relevant field
• Previous experience in an Assistant Accountant roles
• Previous exposure with end-to-end AP processes
• Understanding of Payroll process (advantageous)
• Eager to learn and grow into the role
• Excellent verbal and written skills
• Ability to effectively interact with all stakeholders
• High attention to detail
