What you'll be doing:

Working with a diverse range of clients on everything from:

• Tax planning and general advice
• Financial modelling
• Attend client meetings with senior members of your team
• Consult with clients on the best ways to improve their business
• Work collaboratively with clients to utilise innovation and automation

From a compliance point of view, you will play a role in our team to ensure our clients meet compliance and tax obligations, including:

• Preparing financial statements and income tax returns
• Preparing and lodging BASs, IAS, FBT Returns
• Preparing and assisting clients with other statutory obligations such as payroll tax and Workcover

Requirements

We want to hear from you if you have:

• 4-6 years experience with a mid-tier firm working with SME's
• A degree qualification and CA completion (or near completion)
• Strong written communication skills including providing technical advice
• Excellent problem solving skills and exposure to financial modelling engagements including budgeting, cashflow forecasting and valuations
• Excellent Microsoft Excel and Xero skills
• A demonstrated ability to think holistically and tailor their approach to client need
