Our client is a civil engineering company based in Macquarie Park with an immediate requirement for an Assistant or Experienced Accountant with approx' 2yrs post graduate experience

Working alongside the senior accountant you will be self sufficient and an ambitious self starter. As this is a small team you will have an energetic and enthusiastic approach with an easy going attitude, but looking for career progression which will be offered to he successful candidate.

As our client is open to either an Assistant or experienced Accountant for this role salary expectations are open to negotiations.

To be considered for this role you must be able to demonstrate the following:

• Strong bookkeeping skills, CPA qualified
• 2 years experience in general ledger reconciliation and month-end processes
• Ability to see the bigger picture of financial processes
• Monthly general ledger reconciliations, analysis and reporting, month-end close processes and journal postings
• Excellent organisational and administrative skills
• Excellent Excel skills
• Experience on SUN system desirable
• Experience in construction or engineering, would be be highly advantagous
