The Company
Our client is an Australian owned manufacturing company who have an impressive history spanning over 70 years. With offices based in the inner north suburbs they are in need of an experienced Accounts Receivable Officer to join a close-knit and friendly team.
The primary responsibility of the role is to resolve outstanding accounts receivable payments from stakeholders and any other aspect of collections, as well as resolving customer billing problems and reducing accounts receivable issues.
You will be joining a supportive and high performing team, in a business has won numerous awards & prides itself on its inclusive culture. This is a full-time permanent opportunity, joining an industry leading organisation who are going from strength to strength.

To be successful in this position you will have a minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role. You will be an excellent communicator, a team player, and have a passion for enhancing customer experience. You will be systems savvy and possess an intermediate level of Excel skills.

The Role
Reporting to the Finance Manager your duties will include:
- Credit management on ageing accounts and new account applications
- Accounts receivable reconciliation and general ledger posting
- Prepare monthly account summary and communicate with customers
- Month end processes including sales discount and rebate validations, and standing journal preparation
- DSO calculation, reporting and commentary
- Monthly sales executive reporting & other reporting
- Coordinate the process of credit claims and perform reporting
- Reconcile cash sales account (weekly)
- Reconcile debtors accounts as required
- Identify protentional debtor default problems and report to management
- Monitor and improve debt collection procedures
Your Profile
