Job Description:

The Senior International Tax Analyst is responsible for assisting with all aspects of the international corporate tax function including ensuring compliance with tax reporting requirements as well as the accuracy of the tax related financial statement disclosures.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions): 

  • Assist with the reconciliation of income tax accounts to conform to ASC 740 determined balances: income tax provision, accrued income taxes and deferred income taxes
  • Assist with the calculation of the Company’s income tax provisions and disclosures, for separate legal entities and on a consolidated basis according to ASC 740, primarily focusing on international subsidiaries
  • Assist with various US compliance for international subsidiaries such as E&P calculations, foreign tax credit, GILTI inclusions and related tax filings (Form 5471s, 8858s, 1118, etc.)
  • Review changes in tax laws and/or accounting pronouncements to understand the impact on foreign provision
  • Assist in tax planning projects, build modeling analysis to confirm impact and make recommendations
  • Prepare and review provision to return true-up for foreign subsidiaries
  • Work collaboratively with the global finance team throughout the year to ensure tax consequences of all transactions are well understood and that the tax reporting of these transactions is completed in an optimal manner
  • Support international finance team members with local country audits
  • Research complex international tax issues as they arise
  • Evaluates and monitors transfer pricing policies and results, including maintenance of reporting required to comply with the OECD’s Base Erosion and Profit Shifting measures:
    • Coordinates transfer pricing studies with 3rd party vendors
    • Coordinates global transfer pricing policies and reviews
    • Communicates with business units to gather required country-by-country data

Job Specifications:

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in accounting
  • 3 to 6 years corporate tax experience or comparable corporate tax experience with a CPA firm preferred, with at least 2 years of experience in international tax
  • CPA credentials or an advanced degree is preferred
  • General knowledge of ASC 740 is preferred
