My client is an international manufacturer based near Cardiff who are going through a period of significant change
Description
Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Management Accountant/Finance Manager is a newly created temporary role helping during a period of significant change in the business.
This is a very hands on role where the Management Accountant will take responsibility & ownership of a P&L/BS and associated ledgers, tight monthly group reporting, BS reconciliations, etc
You will take oversight of sales ledger & purchase ledger clerks in the business
You will be responsible for the production of the monthly payroll - currently being brought back in-house
Quarterly VAT - UK and French
Profile
You will be a Qualified Accountant for QBE
You will be a very hands on Accountant and be able to role up your sleeves and get stuck in.
You will have excellent management accounting skills
you will have good attention to detail
Job Offer
An initial 9 month temporary assignment
Salary up to £180 per day
office based for the 1st month then hybrid
