Senior Finance Analyst with Schools finance experience required for a large city council, fully remote.


Senior Finance Business Analyst - Early Years and SEND- Schools Finance

• Fully remote working
• Working in Early Years Schools Finance for Local Government
• £450 p/day Umbrella
• 6 month assignment with extensions available
• Qualified Accountant

You will be working for a large city council and be working within a team that are responsible for overseeing the budget setting , monitoring and reporting requirements of over £329m of general funding.

Your role will be to support the Finance Manager to : -

• Budget setting for Early Years, Adult Education, SEND & Inclusion
• Monitoring of budgets
• Lead on reconciliation/payments & allocation to all schools
• Management of a team of 3 staff
• Deputise for the Finance Manager on occasion
• Support manager through the annual financial cycle work.
• Support manager in providing all information required for schools forum and technical group

Due to the complex nature of the role, you will need to have a good understanding of the early years and SEND finance.
