Our client is a non profit organization in the health insurance space, adding a strong Senior Accountant to their team.

Duties of the Senior Accountant:
- Prepare Balance Sheet reconciliations and journal entries for month-end close
- Assist with preparing Financial Statements
- manage fixed assets #CFSMAY2022
- assist with system implementation, mapping chart of accounts and testing transactions
- work on a lot of accounting projects and create ad hoc reports

Preferred qualifications of the Senior Accountant:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting is preferred
- 3-5 years of accounting experience
- Solid understanding of GAAP, Debits and Credits #CFSMAY2022
- strong Excel skills (including Vlookups and pivot tables)
- good communication skills
