Regulatory Reporting Accountant - Financial Services

This leading group in international payments provides a range of financial services to its global customer network. Their exceptional growth and changing organisational strategy has led to the creation of this new role within the core finance function in order to strengthen the group's financial control capabilities.

Your new role
As a Regulatory Reporting Accountant for this rapidly growing international group, you will become involved in project work to automate current procedures, improve the control environment, and will work with a number of senior people across divisions of the Group.
You will:

• have regulatory reporting oversight of the legal entities within the payments and banking functions of the business
• engage a variety of stakeholders across the business, such as Front Office, Compliance, Operations and IT
• support project work affecting the business including regulatory change and finance transformation

What you'll need to succeed

You will be a qualified accountant with a background of working in a financial services, foreign exchange or fintech environment. You will bring knowledge of the regulatory landscape for a Mifid, payment institution or E- Money business. You will have strong data analysis and systems skills, in particular advanced Excel skills.

You will be a robust communicator, able to strongly articulate your position. You will be excited by joining an established firm undergoing rapid growth, keen to introduce new processes, proactively contributing to the team and Group's success.

What you'll get in return
You will earn a competitive salary of £65,000 to £75,000 plus bonus and benefits. There are flexible working options in place, allowing you to benefit from the vibrancy of the City of London alongside remote working.
